On February 2, 2021, The Council of Ministers has adopted an act that introduces, inter alia, a system for monitoring educational and professional careers of secondary school graduates.
The use of reliable data collected periodically as part of monitoring in educational policy and the labour market will help to improve and adapt the education system (especially in VET) to the needs of students and graduates, also supporting their educational and professional mobility.
The assumptions of the system are developed by the Educational Research Institute in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and the Education Information Centre. The solutions built are modelled on the nationwide system of monitoring the Economic Careers of Higher Education Graduates (ELA), but they will concern further educational careers of secondary school graduates and their situation on the labour market.
