The legislative process of the draft regulation of the Minister of Education and Science amending the regulation on the general objectives and tasks of education in vocational education professions and the classification of vocational education professions is ongoing.

The amendment to the regulation of the Minister of National Education of February 15, 2019 on the general objectives and tasks of education in vocational education professions and the classification of vocational education professions (Journal of Laws, item 316, as amended) results mainly from changes to the Law on School Education and to the Act on the Integrated Qualifications System, pursuant to the Act of August 30, 2023 amending the Law on School Education and certain other acts (Journal of Laws, item 2005), providing for, among others:

- introducing into the education system a new type of facility - an industry skills center,

- replacing the current market qualification with a free market qualification, and

- introduction of a new qualification in the Integrated Qualifications System, i.e. a sectoral qualification.

The draft regulation introduces a new profession of ‘electromobility technician’ into the education system, assigned to the ‘automotive industry’, at the request of the minister responsible for energy.

The project is available on the website of the Government Legislation Center.
