RESET brings together data on education, skills and the labour market. Using 37 indicators, it shows, among other things, what skills are available in each region, which skills are in demand in the labour market, and how well residents' qualifications match employers' needs. Users can explore and compare the results through interactive maps, charts and tables.

The tool helps identify differences between regions that are not always apparent from national statistics. It can be useful for local and regional authorities, education providers, public employment services, employers and researchers. It helps them better understand the needs of regional labour markets and identify areas where education and training provision could be developed.
