Cedefop has published the latest skills forecast for Poland up to 2035.
According to the report, employment in Poland is expected to grow at a rate similar to the EU average – around 0.4% per year. The largest number of job openings will be among professionals (35%), technicians and mid-level staff (19%), as well as skilled labourers in the crafts and trades (18%).
The report also indicates that the qualification structure of the labour market will change. By 2035, as many as 64% of all job openings will require high-level qualifications, while the share of low-skilled workers will drop to just 2%.
