As of October 2023, the Educational Research Institute began implementing a project  financed by the European Funds for Social Development programme whose beneficiaries are teachers educating in the professions.

The project focuses on developing solutions for VET staff education and continuous skills development in the subjects being taught, pedagogy and psychology. The project’s results will serve, among others, the launching of postgraduate studies for VET teachers by the Ministry of National Education.

The project will also hold workshops for teachers, school directors, methodology advisors and social partners to identify the needs and barriers of participation in the professional development offer for vocational teachers.
