This publication presents the results of international projects with a pro-environmental theme implemented under the Erasmus+ programme in the Vocational Education and Training (VET-KA2) sector. It describes both the Strategic Partnerships initiatives from 2014-2020 and the more recent Collaborative Partnerships from the 2021-2027 perspective. The projects presented show how vocational education can support environmental protection and promote sustainable development.
The project descriptions are complemented by articles by experts who share examples of the practical use of the solutions developed in various sectors - from agriculture and forestry, to landscape architecture and tourism, to catering and textiles.
The aim of the publication is to encourage teachers, career counsellors, pupils, students and participants in Erasmus+ mobility to develop green competences and to be active for the environment. It is also a valuable source of inspiration for educational institutions and employers looking for ideas on how to combine vocational education with the ecological challenges of today.
