Drafting of the Act amending the act on the principles of recognition of professional qualifications acquired in the European Union Member States is in progress. The Draft is currently at the stage of the government legislative process.

The Draft Act aims to implement into the Polish legal system Directive (EU) 2018/958 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 June 2018 on the analysis of proportionality before adopting new regulations on professions (Journal of Laws UE L 173 of 09.07.2018 , p. 25). This directive entered into force on July 29, 2018, and the Member States of the European Union were obliged to implement it by July 30, 2020.
