The European Vocational Skills Week is an annual event during which local, regional or national organisations showcase the very best of Vocational Education and Training (VET), a sector capable of empowering all people with the skills they need for a fulfilling personal and professional life.
The 2020 edition will be held from 9 to 13 November 2020 in hybrid format, partly in person in Berlin, Germany and partly online. In agreement with the hosting German Presidency, the attendance in Berlin will be limited to some 200 people, to respect the requirements of the COVID-19 period.
This year’s Week theme is VET for green and digital transitions.
Organising an EVSW event or activity is an excellent way to raise awareness about your work in the field of vocational education and training. Approved events are featured on week website, making this a great opportunity to promote your organisation, whether a “closed” event or one that draws crowds for activities open to anyone.
In 2020 organisers are inviting to organise digital events to promote VET: it could be a webinar, digital press campaign, online careers fair, Facebook Live, Instagram Live or another online gathering.
Activities need to be register here.
