At the beginning of November Statistics Poland published the latest data on the education system in Poland for the 2018/2019 school year.

The publication "Education in the 2018/2019 school year" contains detailed data on schools and other educational institutions in Poland, their students and teachers. Numerous other facts can be found there, including, for example, data on public expenditures for education, examination passing rates and foreign language teaching.

According to Statistics Poland data for the 2018/2019 school year in VET schools in Poland, almost 900,000 students were enrolled – over 505,000 in vocational upper secondary schools, almost 219,000 in post-secondary schools, over 146,000 in first stage sectoral schools and basic vocational schools, and 10,500 in special job-training schools.
