Consultations are being organised by “A Chance” Project for prospective grantees through mid-December. These meetings will enable participants to obtain detailed information on grant procedures and the key project elements.

The project „A Chance – New Opportunities for Adults” implemented by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System in cooperation with the Educational Research Institute  is aimed at developing and testing tailored models to support adults in strengthening their low level of basic skills – including literacy, numeracy, social and digital competences. The project is being implemented using a grants formula – grantees are expected to develop innovative models to support adults, and then chosen models will be piloted with selected target groups. Based on these pilots, recommendations on systemic approaches for raising the basic skills of adults will be prepared.

The project is a response to the EU Council Recommendation on “Upskilling Pathways: New Opportunities for Adults”.

More information about the project is available on its website and the website of the Educational Research Institute.
