The proposed regulation is a response to the request of the Minister of Development, Labour and Technology regarding the introduction of new professions to the education system
- Roofing technician (technik dekarstwa) - education will take place in vocational upper secondary and second stage sectoral programmes as well as through vocational qualification courses or vocational skills courses.
- Robotics technician (technik robotyki) - education will take place in vocational upper secondary and second stage sectoral programmes as well as through vocational qualification courses or vocational skills courses.
- Podiatry (podolog) - education will take place in two-year post-secondary school programmes providing education in the form of daily or full-time education.
- Stylist technician (technik stylista) - education will take place in vocational upper secondary and second stage sectoral programmes as well as through vocational qualification courses or vocational skills courses.
In addition, the proposed regulation also takes into account the application of the Minister of Health to make the following changes in the education of the profession “medical assistive personnel” (opiekun medyczny):
- Change of the name of the qualification distinguished in the profession from “MED.03. Provision of nursing and care services to a sick and dependent person” to: “MED.14. Provision of medical, nursing and care services to a sick and dependent person”.
- Extend the teaching period from one to two years.
- Introduce education in the post-secondary school programme only in the daily form,
- Waive the possibility of conducting vocational qualification courses or vocational skills courses for the qualification distinguished in the profession.
