We encourage you to have a look at following publications about vocational education in Poland from 2019.
- "Vocational school graduates from the 2016/2017 school year. Report from the first round of the study tracking the professional and educational trajectories of VET graduates" – The Educational Research Institute’s report presents the study results on a random sample of learners from their last year of VET school in 2016/2017. Follow-up interviews with the same learners were conducted in the spring of 2018. The study included learners/graduates of basic vocational schools, upper secondary vocational schools and post-secondary schools. The report presents analysis on, among others, the various aspects differentiating vocational learners, their educational choices and educational experiences, as well as – what is of special importance – their educational and professional trajectories and professional experiences in the 9 months after school graduation. The study is an element of the project monitoring the professional and educational trajectories of VET graduates, aimed at developing mechanisms and tools enabling the use of administrative data to systemically monitor VET graduates professional trajectories.
- “Vocational education. The Perspective of the Education System and Labour Market” – The Foundation for the Development of the Education System published an analysis of the different aspects of the vocational education system as well as the position of VET graduates on the labour market. This publication analyses, among others, the transformations of vocational education in Poland, the situation of VET graduates in the labour marker, issues concerning VET financing, vocational examinations, mobility in VET as well as the development of the Integrated Qualifications System.
