More than 700 events in 45 countries - this is what the next edition of the European Vocational Skills Week will look like, to promote and improve the perception of vocational education and training in Europe.
Inauguration in the National Stadium
The conference inaugurating European Vocational Skills Week in Poland will take place on November 5. During the panels, experts will discuss the importance of vocational skills for the economy and the best ways of diagnosing the demand for them.
Expert discussions will be accompanied by a fair, where representatives of various vocational schools will present their programmes, talk about vocational education and cooperation with employers and higher education institutions with a vocational profile. The fair will be also an excellent opportunity to meet the most talented Polish students who in Budapest, September this year, competed in EuroSkills, the European competition of young professionals.
"A Teacher with POWER"
The conference inaugurating the European Vocational Skills Week includes a ceremony of presenting awards to the winners of the competition "A Teacher with POWER". The winners are teachers who, thanks to international trips made available through the Erasmus+ Programme and the Knowledge Education Development Operational Programme, have acquired knowledge and skills that allowed them to develop innovative educational materials used in their work with students.
