A conference organised by IBE entitled Validation in the Integrated Qualifications System − from assumptions to practice took place on October 16. The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of National Education, awarding bodies and sectoral organisations, as well as many others. The speakers and participants discussed their experiences relating to validation.

The programme of the conference included presentations on a number of tools useful in planning and conducting validation. Additionally, two panel discussions were held with representatives of various Integrated Qualifications System stakeholders.

Among the interesting conclusions and suggestions, the topic of artificial intelligence and augmented reality were mentioned as potentially useful tools for future vocational education and for validation, which is a key element in the process of awarding qualifications.
