Cedefop invited experts from CareersNet network to provide an initial assessment of how the coronavirus health emergency has affected the delivery of career and lifelong guidance in their country or region. The aim was to capture their impressions, using selected and provisional information and data within their reach.

The contest organised by the Centre for Education Development is open to all schools providing vocational education and training, both public and non-public.

The contest aims to promote schools and employers who achieve high quality and effectiveness in vocational education and training.

A new publication, "Integrated Qualification System - a new look at the role of career counselling. Recommendations on the role of career counselling in the context of supporting policies for lifelong learning, including the resources of IQS." was released in April 2020. The publication presents activities that can be undertaken in the area of ​​vocational counselling in order to increase the use of the mechanisms offered by the IQS. The recommendations were developed by a team of experts from the Educational Research Institute.
