National qualifications frameworks have become a permanent feature of European vocational education and training systems, although the level of their implementation differs among countries.

On May 16, the Minister of National Education signed the regulations on the core curricula of vocational education occupations and additional professional skills in selected vocational occupations.

The growing use of online job vacancies creates new opportunities to monitor the situation in the labour market.

On March 28, the announcement of the Minister of National Education on the forecast of the demand for employees in vocational education occupations was published. The forecast is designed to support shaping vocational education for both the national and regional labour markets.

Contestants prepared a short film promoting the Integrated Qualifications System (IQS). The film could be on the following two themes: "My Qualifications in the Labour Market" or "The Integrated Qualification System - I Like It!".

Contest applications for the #CedefopPhotoAward can be submitted until May 31, 2019. The contest is organised by the European Center for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) in cooperation with the European Commission.

Publications from the "Spotlight on VET" series are designed as short brochures describing the key elements and organisation of vocational education and training systems in different countries. The latest Cedefop publication presents a compilation of  information on VET in all EU countries, Norway and Iceland.

Cedefop has published a brochure on the actions taken to improve the situation of people with low qualifications.

Forecasts on the skills needs for individual European Union countries, including Poland, were published on the Cedefop website. The forecast is for the period of 2016-2030.
