The annual ReferNet plenary meeting took place at the beginning of February with participants from the institutions involved in the work of the network from all the EU Member States, Iceland and Norway.
Cedefop has published a research paper on the relationship between guidance and validation. It discusses how coordination between career guidance and the validation of non-formal and informal learning can be improved.
Cedefop published the results of an explorative study on adult apprenticeships. The report’s authors indicate increasing adult participation in apprenticeships and point out the huge potential of this form of training.
We are pleased to announce that Cedefop, the European Union agency supporting vocational education and training, has again chosen the Educational Research Institute (IBE) as ReferNet’s partner in Poland. IBE signed the agreement with Cedefop and will be participating in ReferNet work in the 2020 – 2023 period.
The aim of ReferNet is to provide information and monitor changes in vocational education and training (VET) provided by EU Member States, Iceland and Norway.
Report "OECD Skill Strategy: Poland" has been presented by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Ludger Schuknecht at an international conference in Warsaw on December, 11.
Consultations are being organised by “A Chance” Project for prospective grantees through mid-December. These meetings will enable participants to obtain detailed information on grant procedures and the key project elements.
